Apple announced today that more than 25 billion apps have been downloaded from the App Store. The 25 billionth app downloaded was a free app called, Where's My Water? It was downloaded by Chunli Fu of Qingdao, China. As the winner of the App Store Countdown to 25 Billion Apps, Chunli Fu received a $10,000 iTunes Gift Card. Chunli, you lucky person! Whistler Blackcomb Live App

The ski season is here and the snow at Whistler and Blackcomb has been incredible. The week I was there it snowed 7-12 cm each day. Best of all I downloaded the Whistler Blackcomb Live App for iPhone and it's awesome. You can track your season Edge Card passes, when you use them and how many you have left. The App has lift status, snow conditions, weather status, weather cams and best of all using GPS it can track every run. The run tracker tracks speed, vertical, distance and shows each run on a map. I have not been able to put the App down even when I am not skiing so I can see the conditions on the mountains and look forward to my next trip. So have you tried out the Whistler Blackcomb Live App?

EA Sports has a Game Feast Sale going on and have dropped their iPhone App prices to just 99c for Black Friday. I bought a couple of Apps last night, FIFA 11 and NBA Jam, to keep me occupied on some long plane trips I'm planning to take soon. Other Apps also discounted include Tetris, Monopoly, Scrabble and The Sims 3. You should check it out!

Mobile Shopping with the Apple Store App

It's Black Friday today and with Apple discounting their products by 10%, I downloaded the Apple Store App for iPhone so I can lookup and buy Apple products on the go. The App contains all of the Apple products for purchase but no 3rd party accessories. You can track your purchases and the cool thing is you can make Genius Bar reservations at your local Apple Store as well as sign up for events and workshops. It's worth downloading. So do you have it installed on your iPhone?
