iHing is an IT applications consultant who loves gadgets, music, blogging and tinkering with his iPhone, iPad and Mac. He currently lives in ‘sunny’ Vancouver and has lived in Cape Town, Johannesburg, Toronto and LA, with short stays in London, Paris, San Francisco, Palo Alto and New York City. He is a crazy comp sci grad who enjoys writing, helping others with technology and playing with the latest gadgets.
He has owned several Macs including the original Apple Mac SE and Mac SE30 that use to go ‘boing’ when an error occurred. Currently, his office has an Intel Core i5, 27″ iMac, two 20″ iMacs and a 13″ MacBook Pro. While on the go he uses an iPhone 4GS, iPad 2 and an Intel Core i5, MacBook Air. His office's local area network has an Airport Extreme for network routing and three Time Capsules for storage and backups all linked together by gigabit ethernet.
His favourite bands include Coldplay and U2, and his favourite Steve Jobs line is, “Now is that not cool?”. He is currently developing an iOS App and wish he could tell you what the App is but it’s top secret
